The Winston-Salem Urban League expands its Senior Community Service Employment Program (SCSEP) from six (6) to thirteen (13) counties offering nearly $900,000 for career and job support services to older North Carolinians. The program expands to seniors in Alleghany, Ashe, Avery, Mitchell, Watauga, Wilkes and Yancey. WSUL currently serves Davidson, Davie, Forsyth, Stokes, Surry, and Yadkin. Approximately 123 low-income, unemployed seniors, ages 55 and older are eligible for assistance effective October 1, 2017.
