The Summer Youth Employment Program is an award-winning program that provides more than 100 low-income teenagers (ages 15-19) with leadership development, life skills training, and career and college exploration.

Each participant earns a stipend while working at a local business or organization that aligns with their desired career track. The program is funded by the City of Winston-Salem.

Please note: this program is open only to residents of Forsyth County, age 15-19, who meet the listed criteria and provide all required documentation.

The program will last 6 weeks, starting in early July. There may be orientation and/or training days in June before the official start of the program.

Deadline for students to apply is 5pm on Friday, May 31, 2024.
