The YP Career Day is an opportunity for students ages 13 – 18 to engage with, and learn from, young professionals about non-traditional careers in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math (STEAM). During the YP Career Day, it is anticipated that students will have the following opportunities:
- Hear from college career counselor about turning their passions into career paths
- See how themes and analytics that are important in STEAM are valuable in otherindustries,
- Talk with young professionals about their careers and opportunities in STEAM careers,and
- See Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math (STEAM) in action!The YP Career Day is a component of the National Urban League Young Professionals’ Day of Service 2019, and an opportunity for YPs to give back to our community.
9 am to noon, Saturday, April 27 at the Urban League Event Center – 510 Trade St., Winston-Salem, NC
