was the bank’s money, as they were presented the option to open accounts with BB&Tand Allegacy Credit Union. Bank Manager Tommy Hicks (featured picture) from the Old Walkertown BB&T branch explained to our participants that “banking is an adult task and they are taking steps into a good future if they do their accounts correctly.” Allegacy encouraged our youth to apply for the scholarships they have available for college.
