All persons interested in running for office, or nominated by others, must have paid membership dues in full by Wednesday, May 10, 2017. Each newly elected officer must also be able to attend a leadership transitional meeting to be held later in June. There will be no exceptions to these rules.

Elections will be held during the monthly mixer on Thursday, May 11, 2017. All candidates should be prepared to present the general body with a short speech for their respective office of interest. Candidate speeches are limited to two (2) minutes. Each candidate may also be asked questions, as generated from the nominating committee and/or the general body, and will be allowed one (1) minute to answer. Each WSULYP member can cast one vote by paper ballot or absentee ballot. The results of the election will be announced at the adjournment of the May mixer.
